Hi Dave C
Not embarrassing at all. First set Control Panel>Folder Options>View to show hidden files (

) then in Windows Explorer or My Computer navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. You can only do this with Internet Explorer; Firefox stores its temporary files differently
You can find the Firefox cache location by typing 'about
:cache' without the quotes into the Firefox address bar. Then, under Disk Cache Device, click List Cache Entries, find the file you want, make a note of the size, go to the Cache folder in Windows Explorer and find the randomly-named file of the correct size (if you got the file from accordionguy, it'll be the one that's about 4.8MB). But really, using Internet Explorer for this makes life so much easier.
If you empty your cache before you play the song, and sort the results by size, you should find the .mp3 at the top of the list. Just drag and drop it to your Music folder and give it a meaningful name. This works with various things, including most YouTube videos (you have to rename them to xyz.flv); if you do it a lot with IE it's worth putting a shortcut to the TIF folder on your desktop. Using a shortcut will work even if your folder options are set to not show hidden files; you may get a warning about an 'unspecified security flaw'; just ignore it in this case.
Phew, sorry that took so long, I'm not a Firefox user
