Nightfly was looking mighty impressive until Seva kicked sand in his face.

Nightfly, how do you find anything in a collection of 4000 physical CDs? I've only got about 300 and have hassle storing them,
Cheers,
Dave C

Hey Dave ..Loved your initial post..I'm glad somebody had the....well you
know... to say something..

I have racks against the wall ..some back to back.. 8 racks hold 650 a piece
I know that's more than 4,000 I have Dvd's in some of them..and the albums
are in a walk in closet with the doors open and A/C so they don't warp...
Thank God for downloading...It has saved my marriage..
and how do I find anything well I don't...If I can't find something, like I've admitted in the past I will download it...when I find the physical CD ..I send
the Mp3 CD-R versions out to friends and DJs ..I also donate many Cd's to
Public Library's to share different kinds of music with the masses..and when
I need money for Sparks I sell them used at low prices..so it's a really good cycle of sharing music..Thanks for asking..

Take care,

Nightfly

Nightfly may be unable to locate some of his music. Me, on other hand - I know exactly WHERE it is, but don't always know WHAT it is!

I can only probably speak comfortably on behalf of about half of my collection. The rest was probably acquired from friends and then abandoned for subsequent sorting out.

I rather like it like that. I consider my music collection a bottomless treasure chest, where I can always find something new. Often when I decide to download some music, I end up discovering I already have it and have had it all along.

Probably silly of me - but I've never heard of Marillion till I came across the name on this forum. Just now discovered that I have 3 studio albums AND a Greatest Hits compilation Someone must be a huge fan - wish I knew or remembered where I got these from!!!

Hi Vik

I'm a Marillion fan. I'm a member of Spanish Marillion Fan Club (The Web Spain). I got about 100 albums (the official releases and a lot of rarities). They send us, each Christmas, a CD with a special christmas message, live versions, remixes, strange stuff...

The only concert in Barcelona that I could not go was the last they performed (last April), because of my wife felt sick), although I had the tickets bought since november.

FANTASTIC!! I AM busy exploring them now.

You must think I have fallen off them moon that I've never heard of them. After all I am busy discovering much of good music way "after my time".

I'm very open minded though to all gengres (besides COUNTRY - or I became so, the day got my iPod.
