First of all, I must say, if you haven't seen the original movie "Escape From New York" with Isaac Hayes as "The Duke", you should see it.
Now, I have a vinyl album by Isaac Hayes, "Don't Let Go". It was a "disco era" album, from 1979. The "best" song on the album was the title track, 133 BPM (according to my notes).
There are some interesting things on the credits, for example the photography credit for the album cover and back is (wait for it) Isaac Hayes!
There is also this great quote regarding RIAA on the back cover: "This record has been engineered and manufactured in accordance with standards developed by the Recording Industry Association of America, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of recorded music and literature". Good thing they didn't get their hands on literature!
"Also available on 8-track (8T-1-6224) and cassette (CT-1-6224)"
