Thanks for the suggestion, Vik, really funny. I like very much the Pink Floyd's cover Comfortably Numb, it sounds like the Bee Gees singin' Pink Floyd's.

Scissor Sisters are great. Lots of fun. They've got a little bit of everything. Part Bee Gees. Park Bowie. Part Elton John. Part T Rex.

Here is mine:

1) Ramones - Sleeping Troubles
2) Beethoven - Piano Sonata No. 22 (played by Daniel Baremboin)
3) Here There And Everywhere (The Beatles) - Rockabye Baby! (Lullabye Renditions)
4) Aimee Mann - Guys Like Me
5) Miriam Makeba - House Of The Rising Sun
6) Adam Ant - Killer On The Home
7) Frank Black - Sing For Joy
8) Blank Page (The Smashing Pumpkins) - Rockabye Baby! (Lullabye Renditions)
9) Eels - Bird On A Cell Phone
10) Bryan Ferry - Positively 4th Street

As you can see, my mp3 player is an strange mixture. The funniest thing is that I got about 10 whole albums by The Rolling Stones and more than 20 from Marillion but any song by them was in the first 10 random. My mp3 player's random software isn't quite good.

Hey Kalvin... how are you?

Really Like your List!...I love Frank Black...Check out his new double cd on Sparks..It rocks...also I just downloaded Bryan Ferry's Dylanesqe ...great new album..with a fresh spin on Dylan..and Aimme Mann is one of the most under rated singer song writers.. have all her cd's..and my mp3 player has
5 stones Cd's on it..Keeps me moving ..when I'm moving...
When's the Baby due? Let us Know...(saw Rockabye Baby we discussed
favorite lulabyes a ways back)..

Take Care,

Nightfly

Fine! Happy to "read" you!! And you?

Lately I don't post you anything, but I still follow yours. You know you are one of my references.

Frank Black is already in my "waiting list". And Dylanesque was a surprise. I really like Bob Dylan, but I though (until I read his first Chronicles volume) that his songs are usually better performed by other artitst (Have you listened the 30th anniversary concert celebration? It's amazing!)

Me too! Even her Live At St. Ann's Warehouse DVD. By the way, what do you think about "The Forgotten Arm". Maybe it's my favorite, it sounds like some 70's albums.

There are some artists always present in my mp3 player:

Aimee Mann
Antònia Font (they're a group from Majorca, they sing in "mallorquin", some kind of catalan language, and do an alternative pop/folk mixture)
Eels
Led Zeppelin
Los Planetas (an alternative pop spanish group)
Marillion
Sheryl Crow

October! But I've checked and selected a collection of lulabyes.

Greetings & Peace!

Love the Scissor Sisters albums, especially the first one. Have you tried the Mika album yet, as this is winning the best 'pop' album of the year for me so far.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Nightfly,
I used my tried and tested; pick a number out of the air based purely on how I feel at the time of listening to the song. Roughly speaking, 7 or more and I would happily listen to it any time. A 10 would make it to the 'top rated' playlist on my ipod (upto 119 tracks so far).
