Question Looking for: Eric Matthews - 09-02-2008, 12:13 AM

Hi,
I am desperately trying to to find a site which has the first two Eric Matthews albums (It's Heavy in Here & The Lateness of the Hour) on download. Only just discovered this artist and he is reminds me so much of the excellent Divine Comedy that I have to find his first two albums (meant to be his best if reviews are to be believed). Got my eye of both albums on the UK ebay, but am lazy and would prefer to download. Hope someone can point me in the right direction,
Cheers,
Dave C

I hate to say it, Dave, but they're both available on (US, at least) iTunes...
But I have to say, they are both fantastic, with some tracks that are unlike anything I've heard. I haven't got the latest ones, but I can vouch for the awesomeness of the two you mentioned.

Hi Dave, have not seen you around for a long while.

Have a look here on Amazon UK both albums you are looking for are there - unfortunately not downloads.

Ashley
If you have one watch you know what the time is. But if you have two you don't know which one is right.

The more advice you get the more confusing it becomes.

why do i sometimes get the feeling, solaris actually is a walking lexicon, attached to
a portable library, attached to a portable harddisk, and attached to pretty girls, too?

I have several of his more recent albums which I got from a mixture of MM, e-music & mp3sale but was stumped by the older ones. Thanks to the marvellous Solaris, my search seems to have been finished ,

I did check out itunes (), but both of the early albums are only available at 128kbps so I did not go there (would have been more tempted if they had been itunes plus).
I have just started listening to the first two albums and like what I hear so far (glad to hear that other people also like them). Their newest album (The Imagination Stage) was what I first heard and was so taken by it I searched out the other stuff,
Cheers,
Dave C

Thanks for the finds, I never doubted for a minute that you would not be able to locate one or more of them.

It is strange, but I have had & loved the Cardinal's one & only album for a long time. I have just never read about them and certainly did not know Eric Matthews was one of the singers until a couple of days ago. If I paid more attention to what I was listening to I might have discovered Eric Matthews a long time ago
Cheers,
Dave C
