Of course the iTunes store sells them but I refuse to buy from them out of principle! Of course, I could also buy the CD on the internet somewhere but I really want just 2-3 tracks from each CD.
I am very tempted to temporarily sign up to P2P file sharing such as Limewire in the hope that I will find them there but I am also worried that my laptop will explode or something, I have an Apple Mac so I guess I should be relatively safe from cyberspace attacks.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Snowman,
I collect African music and know Baaba Maal's "Firin' Fouta". It is out
of print now..It is to bad because it is his best CD and that's saying a lot coming from such a great artist .. maybe you can get a used copy on Amazon...If I come across it on the internet during my surfing,I will pm you and let you know.But I know of no site that has it right now...and I agree
I don't go to Itunes myself,so I don't know what they have.But I think
that you should wait before you sign up for a p2p.. they most likely wont
even have Baaba Maal and even less likely to have the songs you like
if he was there..and like a box of chocolates,you never know what
you'll get...(things are bad...I'm quoting Forrest Gump..

)
If you have any other African music requests let me know and I'll
try to help.
