I've got a nominee - the new James Blunt.

Dreadful Drivel!

Oh oh.. I would like to agree with you.

But I remember what happened the last time I did that..

Let's just say he's not my cup of tea ...and I wish him well
in his future endeavors.

It's not even his songs - it's more his barely-there mealy-mouthed voice, twithout a twinge of soul. NEXT!

Mika is phenomenal in comparison! Not that there's anything to compare.

I did listen to 3 tracks (couldn't take any more)...and my advice for James.

James did you ever consider dance(changing jobs) or singing in a male voice ?

and yes as we have talked about this before Mika is fun and alive
compared to the above..and I have changed my opinion of Mika.

Singing in a male voice is not necessary.... His range does does marvels for the one you changed your opinion about

Thumbs down Kate Nash - 09-21-2007, 08:51 PM

The worst album I have downloaded (so far) this year has got to be Kate Nash, closely followed by Newton Faulkner's Handbuilt By Robots. Album I have been most disappointed by has got to be Yous Truly, Angry Mob by the Kaiser Chiefs.
Cheers,
Dave C

soaris,

You are a man of sound conviction and stand behind your
good taste...as I have found out many times here, it is
not always easy to be the arbitrator of good taste..

many times you must stand alone or in my case get flamed ..

really if we all had the same taste ..how boring would that be..
Then we would not learn anything about new music ...

All of which I have successfully avoided downloading through the power of preview that Mp3sparks provides!

I've gone back and forth about deciding to download Kate Nash, and decided that one original Lily Allen is enough for me!
