Lone Star 1976 - Lone Star - Firing On All Six Music Downloads - Mp3

.....It's old, but have a listen anyway if you do not have it, sometimes the oldun's are the best.

It is actually two albums reissued together I believe!

Mott The Hoople
"Fabulous band - on a good night the best in the world, and more influential than anyone at the time dared believe..." - Pete Frame (Rock Family Trees)

But none of them hold a candle to the grandaddy of all prog bands, Gentle Giant!

Just a quick note to thank you for turning me on to Spock's Beard!
I am a prog rock fan (Love old Genesis, Yes, King Crimson) and took your recommend and downloaded the latest (Spock's Beard) off of Mp3Sale. Loved it and will get some more!
They are originally a local band (Culver City, CA) which surprises me that I have not heard of them.
Reminds me of the old Genesis days with Peter Gabriel.
I'll check out some more on your list.

Thanks again - Mark

If you enjoy Gabriel era Genesis, I think you will enjoy checking out a group called 'The Watch'. Boxmp3 has their latest album available for download - 'Primitive' - it has loads of mellotron too.

Will check it out!

Thanks - Mark

PS: Found out Boxmp3 is part of the Lavamus chain. Am downloading now. Not thrilled with the bit rates < 192 on some tracks, but will give a listen. Thanks Again.

For fans of Prog, Fiesta have Magenta`s new album "Metamorphosis" for just 80 cents, if you buy the tracks individually (there are only 4), which is pretty good when 2 of the tracks are 20 minutes plus (decent bitrate too - 224)

Nick the drummer for Spock's Beard also plays with Tears for Fears when/if they play together. Glad you enjoyed and try some of the others as well. Some a more melodic/symphonic/operatic metal than the others though. Nightwish is my fav personally especially the new album Dark Passion Play.
