4 x cello's and a bit of the heavy stuff, you cannot go wrong, a good cheap selection on mp3fiesta, if you are not sure where to start, try "Reflections & Reflections Revisited".

They're very awesome. I also love the Max Payne 2 theme that one of their members recorded, don't know if you've heard it - amazing

Hi Chris,

I heard a few tracks of Apocalyptica playing Metallica a few months ago, and thought it was amazing.
Such a great idea, playing heavy stuff on cellos. As as a big Metallica fan, it took a bit of getting used to, but I really liked it. Ever since then I have been meaning to listen to or download some of their albums, but have not got around to it yet (so much music, such little time ).

Your post will hopefully encourage me to finally check them out properly

Thanks!

Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but certainly different and unique.

Thanks,

I heard these guys on the radio some years back but then promptly forgot their name (didn't write it down). I've been hoping that they would be brought back to my attention someday - and hey presto here it is. I'll definitely be downloading a few of these albums - fortunately many are in 320kbps, particularly the Metalica one and Reflections Revisted.

Cheers,
