Angel Air Records - 4-CD limited edition box by rock band Mott The Hoople including live concerts recorded in UK and USA in the 1970s and 48 page booklet
Chris7;

Just wanted to let you know that the set arrived on Friday and while I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, the packaging and enclosed booklet are worth the price of admission
The catalog they sent with it is great. Some great recordings by forgotten bands like Atomic Rooster and Colosseum and a whole lot of bands I have never heard of. Must assume that most are UK bands. One that kinda intrigues me is one called "Stone The Crows". I may have to go out and do some research on that one.

Thanks again - Mark

Don't be sad Chris I think you have a few albums to listen to
until the 11th....

I must admit when I first saw the date I thought it was November too..
that would be a real reason to be sad....lol..

nightfly;

Thanks for the feedback!

Just downloaded "Teenage Licks" off of Iomoio at 320! Not bad at all!
Believe I'll go back and get the other two they have.

The singer, Maggie Bell, sure sounds familiar though. Not sure if it is because she sounds like a lot of singers from that era: Janis Joplin, Bonnie Bramlett to name a couple.

Wonder how I missed them?

Mark
