Cool For any Mott The Hoople Fans - 07-13-2008, 11:02 AM

They are releasing a 4xcd "Live" Box Set on 4th August, supposedly only 2000 copies will be sold. I have just pre-ordered with Amazon for about £23 all in. You can check it all out from the link below if interested.

Angel Air Records - 4-CD limited edition box by rock band Mott The Hoople including live concerts recorded in UK and USA in the 1970s and 48 page booklet

A GREAT Rock & Roll Band in their day, still well loved as far as I know, will many of today's so called music stars/bands be remembered in 30-40 years, I doubt it.

Mott was a great band, their original guitarist was Mick Ralphs who left Mott to start Bad Company with Paul Rodgers.

"one of the Boys / Soft Ground / Ready for Love" side 2 from all the young dudes is 15 mins. of rock n roll bliss.

The real scary thing is that I remember when they first came on the scene!
Still buy stuff by Ian Hunter to this day!

Was that by you asking for them, or is just a coincidence?
