I'm new here but thought I'd start a topic about what your favourite recent albums are so far this year. I'll list mine:

Blonde Redhead - 23: haunting, beautiful, weird, like a movie soundtrack

Brazilian Girls - Talk to La Bomb: sexy and catchy...but not quite what you think from the title

Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage: great superspeed guitar metal lite

Kosheen - Damage: good album, great opening song (once it gets going)

Robyn - Robyn & Teddybears - Soft Machine: both Swedish I think, Cobrastyle is a great song on each.

The Detroit Cobras - Tied & Trusted: I love them, the first song has great singing ability and replayability!

The Last Town Chorus - Wire Waltz: saw these live, amazing voice

The Veils - Nux Vomica: up there with my favourite ever

I think it's too early to call the best albums of 2007, since the year isn't even half over yet! But that's just my opinion.
