Smile Foolish Pleasures.. - 06-22-2007, 02:33 AM

Foolish Pleasures are considered favorite songs or groups that you
might be embarrassed of or afraid to admit liking because your peers
might raise a eyebrow..but you don't care, you love the song or group
anyway..here is your opportunity to literally admit to the world what
those groups or songs are..

Mine are... The Monkees .. I love all those great and sometimes goofy songs even if they couldn't play their own instruments.. they bought the best musicians money could buy ...and they were fun..

Herman's Hermits ..catchy tunes that capture the innocence of youth..

Songs..Sister Golden Hair by America
Go All The Way The Raspberries

oh yeah I like the band Twisted Sister...couldn't tell you why...lol..

What are yours?

My foolish pleasures - 06-23-2007, 08:55 PM

These are my foolish pleasures:

I Was Made For Loving You - Kiss
Do Wah Diddy Diddy - Manfred Mann

And some "Spanish Foolish Pleasers", of course.

He also was the "voice" of several Alan Parson's project tracks / albums

Sooo embarrasing! - 06-24-2007, 08:53 PM

Hey Nightfly why did you start this?
Now I have to admit I have a real weakness for Adam and The Ants.
Anything with loads of rhythmic drumming always does it for me. Two drum kits doubles the pleasure I guess.
Anyone know of any other bands with two drummers at once?
I'd be pleased to know

Soundtrack of this forum - 06-24-2007, 08:55 PM

Ok, ok, shame on us...

and maybe John Miles was best as Alan Parsons Project's singer than alone...

but according to the lyrics of "Music", this song could be the soundtrack of this forum...
