Thumbs up The Indelicates & American Demo - 04-16-2008, 10:06 PM

Got this album (American Demo) off emusic a couple of days ago and it is well worth trying. Never heard of The Indelicates before, but they are an indie pop type band with some great toe-tappin tunes. Some of the songs are immediately excellent (America (Favourite single so far this year), Our Daughters Will Never Be Free, Sixteen & If Jeff Buckley Had Lived), but the other are quickly growing on me after four or five listens. Not sure if any of the other sites have it, but worth trying,
Cheers,
Dave C

Thumbs up Yael Naim - 04-16-2008, 10:21 PM

Do you guys know this Israeli songstress: Yael Naim?

I'm fairly positive that you would like her a lot Her "Tot Ou Tard"-album from last year is really excellent. Especially "New Soul" is a super song. You should check her out

I've only heard her rather interesting cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic". Very interesting!!

Thanks Dave. I am really enjoying the album. I'd even recommended it to a couple of my friends outside of the forum. America is a fantastic song!
