New Rock / Metal Albums - 06-03-2008, 10:09 PM

My first review.

The new Disturbed album "Indestructible" that came out today 6/3 in US, is AWESOME!! Rocks hard from start to finish. If you go out and buy it, make sure to get the version that includes the DVD and it will give you an inside look at the making of the album and insight into the meaning behind some of the tracks.

Inside the Fire is a great song - track 2
Track 7 Enough is pure hard driving metal with great double kick drums going throughout. Clearly the best track on the album.

Another solid effort from these guys who just keep getting better and better on every effort.

The new Bret Michaels - SUCKS!! Stick to Poison chief

Weezer - Red Album - decent effort from Rivers and the guys. Pork and Beans is a solid song, but the disc will take several listens for me to really get into it.

Got any good recommendations for me to try? Any rare Metallica in your collection, or anything of the like?

Nothing that rare I'm afraid, sometimes mp3sale has DVD rips like the AC-DC Stiff Upper Lip one that other sites don't have.
Before they doubled their prices, I got from fiesta the Rammstein "Rare Tracks", and very good it is.
I tend to stay away from bootleg copies as the sound quality varies wildly.
