Hey, Beautybaby, remember that time we were walking through the woods and came across Pinocchio?
You tackled him and sat on his face yelling "Tell me a lie, tell me a lie"

See ya,

Not exactly sure where this thread is heading, but...some music that seems like summer music to me.

Checked out 2 old Doobie Bros. releases on goldenmp3 that seem pretty cool - (Nightfly probably knows about these ):

Stampede (1975) & Livin on the Fault Line (1977). The first one has some great bluesy rock, love "Cheat The Hangman" and "Texas Lullaby", also "I Been Workin On You".
Fault Line is more Michael McDonald soul type, some really good stuff reminds me a bit of Steely Dan for some reason. Great keyboards.

Sort of amazes me away when I find something that I wasn't familiar with, released 30 yrs ago, and it sounds fresh to me.

Kaeli,

The Doobie years with Michael McDonald were my favorite because
of my love for soul and jazz..but Fault Line is still the one I listen to
on a regular basis. Great Find!....

One of my favourite Doobie Brothers tracks is "For Someone Special" from Takin' It To The Streets - which I believe was written and sung by their bass player.
