Hi,

Does anyone know how I can access my AllofMP3 Explorer bookmarks? AllofMP3 Explorer no longer loads to the point where I can view my bookmarks. Is there some way to view them or import them into Alltunes?

AllOfMp3 Explorer? I think that's been gone for over a year. Are you talking about AllTunes?

You can use Mp3Sparks web front end or the AllTunes downloader.

Yeah I had it installed from the old AllofMP3 days but when AllofMP3 went down I could no longer load AllofMP3 Explorer to get to the bookmarks. AllofMP3 Explorer just dies at the point of trying to connect to the server. I know the bookmarks are stored locally and have tried viewing the edb file with a text editor but it's all gibberish.

You can access them if you log into Mp3Sparks....

Thanks Vikulenka, how do I do that? The site seems to be down. I'm surprised that you say that I can access them via Mp3Sparks though because the AllofMP3 Explorer bookmarks are stored locally on my hard drive, not online.

Sorry, I guess I am not familiar with Mp3 Explorer really. What bookmarks are you talking about then? Are you talking about the Album/Track bookmarks internal to the application or something else?

If Mp3Sparks is down now (unfortunately, I cannot try it from work) it'll be up hopefully soon (But not before a few dozen panicked posts from newbies that it is never coming back ) So please stand by.

AllofMP3 Explorer was the client application for AllofMP3.com. It's almost the same as the Alltunes client, just an earlier version really. If you use Alltunes you'll see a bookmarks section in there where you can store song or album names for future download. AllofMP3 Explorer had a similar bookmarks section and I'd bookmarked a heap of music.

I read that Mp3Sparks was being blocked by some ISPs due to their links to some shady criminal organizations. Do you know if this is still the case?

I know you've probably been asked this a million times but where can I get myself a pair of nipplephones?

Ok, so we are talking about the same thing. I see bookmarks whether I log into Mp3Sparks or Memphis Members on any machine (don't use allTunes, since I am on a Mac) so they are not stored locally.

Sorry, just saw your modified post. I'll try to find a link for you that Solaris posted a few times. I think the website is called something like "Is this site being blocked for everyone or is it just me" I'll try to search for Solaris' post now.
