Allofmp3 Explorer Mac - 06-29-2007, 04:38 PM

Because of the current "server maintenance", I can't download the Allofmp3 Explorer for Mac to use it with Sparks. Does anybody of you still have the Mac Explorer and could you upload it for me? Thanks.
Sorry, I could have used the other thread. I didn't see it, merge if possible.

since AoMP3 and MP3Sparks are clones, you can get it from http://files.mp3sparks.com/explorer/...orerformac.zip

I tried that on my MacBook. Unfortunately the connection errors out spitting out some errors which contain a reference to "allofmp3.com", which I understand is not a valid domain anymore - even if "allofmp3.RU" should ever come up again.

I feel like some Mac developer should help them with the software. It was created on September 2006, so it hasn't been updated since, and therefore it's not even Universal Binary. (Besides, it doesn't even give errors while connecting on my MacBook, it just crashes.)

There was this application, ThreeTen --it was an amazing downloader until AllOfMP3 decided to change the download method to disable this application. I think they should hire the guy.

(Also, I heard there was another downloader app, "geddum", but since it's website is offline, I cannot say if it is still available or not.)

Try igetter. It's free (sort of). You have to wait for the timer to go away. Works ten times better than allofmp3 explorer.

I was using iGetter. It's a great download manager, but allofmp3 doesn't (didn't) like it very much. Especially when it downloaded in parts; some bytes from the joint places would be missing, and the song would be incomplete even though it is gone from my basket.
