Alternative services? - 01-13-2008, 04:40 AM

I've been using some version of allofmp3 or mp3sparks for almost 5 years now, and I think I've become a bit spoiled. I'm currently trying to find an alternative site to download from, and frankly, everything else out there seems a bit disappointing. I'm considering funding an account at mp3skyline.com to give it a try, as it seems to be the best one out there. What other sites have you guys used? Are there any services out there that offer downloads with variable or high-quality bitrates (>192kbps)? I never really appreciated the high-quality product from mp3sparks until I got a really nice pair of headphones; now, I really notice the difference on cheap downloads. Anyway, thanks for the help!

Hello rsj9,

Most of the sites offered on Rutunes.com are 192 or higher.
Mp3skyline does offer many of its in downloads in vbr and has a large
catalogue. All the various sites offer the quality of the download on
the album page clearly marked before you make your purchase.
Also you should check out a sites catalogue to see if it suits your personal
musical tastes and needs.

You can also check out the Forum here called Music Shops where
you can get some information about the various sites as well as going to our
sister site Rutunes.com for full review.Ultimately the choice is yours.

MP3Sale - 01-13-2008, 10:19 AM

I'm using MP3Sale since two weeks, because they have some tunes i wanted and unavailable on MP3Sparks. They're more expensive than MP3Sparks and you cannot select the bitrate.

Why do you think mp3sale is more expensive?
It's at least 1.5 times cheaper than mp3sparks....

I have to agree with pastor39 here, lontano - MP3Sale is much cheaper than MP3Sparks, when you compare their respective prices for 192 kbps MP3-files...
