In a nutshell Memphis Membership is a club for those of us who have spent a significant amount of money with AllofMP3 over a period of time. We have a unique gateway so that each of us can log in and add money to our account. You have to be invited to join and get a USD 15 bonus to your account.

However, of late it appears that MP3Sparks fulfills this role as it is basically AOMP3 with different clothes on.

If I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected.

I just learned about sparks, I set myself up, first couple of times I tried it would not accept credit cards but 5 minutes later it did twice in a row allowing me to add $50 more.

Did you transfer your account from AllofMP3, or did you just register newly at Sparks? If the latter then you are the first person who's done that, that I am aware of, who has been able to pay. If that is true then this is significant.

No I transferred. After I read around here this morning I checked my account and it offered me the chance to switch in the account details somewhere.

When acordis says significant, he means alot. You need to have spent about $300 minimum The average person will not get through. I would say i like music and have spent $130 (about 4gb of music) and that is not enough to get through!

I logged into sparks account using Aomp3 id. It let me in. Furthermore I filled up tank with 20$ using a credit card
I then Begged admin to let into the ancient city of Memphis. Of course, I have been a long time scrounger of the excellent site and had spent money

They then deigned to grant me access to the exclusive den YAY

I registered newly onto MP3Sparks yesterday and managed to put money onto my account through Mastercard, though I had to refresh the screens a few times because the server was so busy.

I hadn't checked out AllofMP3 until news yesterday that it was getting shut down, so thought to check out the new site. I'm now listening to Decemberists, The Crane Wife.

But today, I'm getting a timeout every time I get to the site. I wonder if it's bombed with the traffic or if it's been very quickly jumped on by the Russian authorities. ? Nice forum, by the way.
