CMPASS problem - 08-16-2008, 06:12 PM

Dialed in this morning from UK to purchase $10 worth and the call went through as normal, was on the line for the duration. But then instead of seeing the usual code details some kind of error message appeared on screen. I went into my orders but nothing had appeared and when i tabbed back i could no longer view the error message.

E-mailed their payments team but no response. Has anyone else had similar problems or able to offer suggestions?

I get that sometimes when getting codes, never got any back when an error message comes. Sorry for the bad news!

I think being stuck on the end of a phone listening to muzak and waiting for numbers to magically pop up on the screen involves some kind of trust. This is the first time i've had a problem, problems do happen, but the worrying thing for me is there doesn't seem to be any comeback if they don't respond to e-mails.

Jazzy, your post seems to suggest that this has happened to you more than once. I think once is probably once too often for me.

Yeh it has happened more than once, but different things have happened. Once I can only imagine their whole system went down as I got an error message on screen where it normally says Call in Progress. Other times, I think it must have been my internet as the whole page stops refreshing itself.

This happened to me twice, the error message is:

"UPDATE numbers SET customer_id = [myid] WHERE pk= You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1"

I'm currently trying to contact them by e-mail.

I'm sorry to have to tell you...

CMPass (and their original company xrost.biz) don't send responses to any emails... ever...

They have...
payments@xrost.biz
payments@cmpass.com

But never, ever, reply to anything... I had a problem back in August where I lost money and after lots of emails got no where... However I used them only a couple of days ago and it worked fine. Although now MM/Alltunes/MP3Sparks is down... great timing.

Unfortunately I can report that CMPass hasn't been working for me since yesterday.
I tried several times to add funds by phone, but every time the call ends and I should be directed to the part where the codes are listed, I get the same error message that was quoted a few posts above mine.
I tried to purchase 20 $ vouchers, but will try a different amount now, maybe that will work.

UPDATE: I just tried a $15 call, which worked just fine. Sweet!

CMPASS isnt working at all for me hence why I cannot offer any more vouchers.

After some more testing, I discovered that only $20 vouchers don't work. I have ordered several $15 vouchers, which all worked fine.

So, if anyone is interested, I can offer to order vouchers for you, although not on such a large scale.
