As of Wednesday afternoon, 16th January, Cogent Communications is no longer blocking traffic to AbdAllah Internet, home of Mp3Sparks. This is a triumph for Net Neutrality, common sense and - well - us, I guess


EDIT: All sites confirmed up and running again at 19.00 GMT today. So ignore the rest of this post...

However, this is rather spoilt by the fact that as of 16.15 GMT today Mp3Sparks, MM, allTunes and allofmp3.ru all seem to be unavailable for other reasons, yet to be determined.

But it looks rather as though they've gone on a long holiday. If you can reach any of these sites, please let us know.

I concur with the previous post. I too cannot get into mp3sparks or alltunes at 1740 hrs here in the UK using BT isp. I was in the site about two hours ago today so is very resent outage from site. May be they are reconnecting the payments all fingers toes crossed!!!!!

Me too !!! I'm in the UK and now can no longer logon to MP3 Sparks or AllTunes.

I wish they'd get things sorted once and for all !!!

A small miracle..I am able to get into both Mp3sparks and Alltunes..
in the US..First time I'd seen Sparks in weeks...Hope this is soon true
for all our members...

Wow thanks Nightfly, yes they're all back up again! Never seen them do that before!

Everybody who is still blocked now is almost certainly blocked by their own ISP.

All three are back online again after a few hours of downtime and I did a tracert on MP3Sparks, which took me through Cogent in 13 hops from Istanbul, Turkey to Scandinavia (or is it the other way around - I can never remember)

A tracert on MemphisMembers took me from Horsens, Denmark, where MemphisMembers servers allegedly are placed, to... well..., Scandinavia in 14 hops

A tracert on allTunes took me from Gunzenhausen, Bayern in Germany to Scandinavia in 13 hops also
