Hi Graham
I am wondering the same thing. I know it partly depends on how long you used allofmp3 for and how much you downloaded. I used the service for over two years and I know I downloaded thousands of dollars worth of music.
It was a fantastic service and not just because of the reasonable prices. I have a good audio system so I always went for the 320 bitrate which you just can't get anywhere else. But the most important thing for me was because allofmp3 was so accessible.
I am blind and use a screen reader which is a programme that talks and lets you navigate webpages by using the keyboard. For it to work websites have to be designed to a certain standard. ITunes is completely inaccessible to it. I just tried out
Soundsbox and discovered they use Flash Player on certain important controls and my screen reader doesn't recognise them. So even if I wanted to I can't use the other services easily because of their design. Allofmp3 on the otherhand was straightforward and used good code design that meant I could jump from one section to another and find links and buttons easily. I really miss it. So it wasn't just a great music service but an exponent of equal opportunities!
Ah well, lifes a bitch...
