I would like to know if there is an application like "allofmp3explorer" for Mac 'cause alltunes doesn't work with Mac and allofmp3explorer is programming to link allofmp3.com !
Right click and save under is a good method but a little bit long...

hi,

Only yesterday I got around 20 inquiries from MAC users asking if our downloader works on MAC, and answer is yes!

www.soundsbox.com - give it a try, there are two versions of downloader version 2.0 for PC and 1.1 that works on MAC's

Hi nonosse.

Just wondering what on earth you are replying to with your above statement

P.S. And I'm still a little mad at you for not coming back to help us after we got you into Memphis - that was the deal...

allofmp3explorer for mac - 07-07-2007, 09:16 AM

Some time ago i asked this question of tech support. Their reply was to use this link to download the mac version. I just tried it and it would not work, but if things get back up and running, it might work for you. I have used the program with several friends who have macs and it worked ok. Not as good as alltunes, but acceptable.

The AllOfMP3 Explorer for Mac doesn't work anymore.

And there is a way to make allTunes work on a Mac. I found a cheap (read: free) way to do it. I had a free license key for Parallels, but wasn't using it since I didn't have Windows. I downloaded Windows Longhorn Server 2008, which is in Beta and free-to-try, and installed allTunes on top of it. It works great, but drag-'n-drop between OS'es doesn't work, but setting up a shared folder solves it.

Now, I'm going to install and see if allTunes runs under Wine.

Good answer for Intel Macs, but sadly mot much use for the PowerPC variety.

I'm aware of that... Out of the 4 computers at home, 2 are PowerPC Mac's, and one is a Linux-based PC. That only leaves my MacBook to download music, and it's not even a Mac-native way.
Besides, I liked the online solution better; when you add the songs to your iTunes library, it corrects the filename and lists them according to the ID3 tag, so I didn't need the program to download it with correct names.

Oh ThreeTen, how I miss you...

PS: For some reason Wine for Mac doesn't download from the sourceforge site. I'm still trying to find it.

Um, okay. Call me dense, but I can't figure out how to get it to work. The User/Pass part is clear, but where the hell do you find a "sales number"? The website interface isn't exactly forthcoming with information. If it matters, I'm testing this using the 30¢ that starts out in your account.
