many people are jonesing for a download fix - 07-07-2007, 06:42 AM

After reading some of the latest posts by Solaris, it seems that many people are jonesing for a download fix. I just take it day by day with the thought that it may all just end with no explanation. That's it, party's over. Enjoy it while you can. I've been very fortunate in updating my collection.

I was going to download the new Chemical Brothers album but decided to wait a day, then no dice...oh well.

However, I did recently obtain the entire Roxy Music, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC catalogs. Some I had on disc, some I didn't. That has kept me busy in the listening department. New stuff I obtained before the crash, the new Velvet Revolver, Rush, and Bon Jovi.

Funny how in the age of immediacy (as I call it) we become addicted to something like this. I must say that I became obsessed for awhile and would download single songs, albums, soundtracks...or anything I was missing. I just couldn't stop, like a kid in a candy store.

Hi mattboy.

I think A LOT of the users in this forum have had "the kid in a candy store" experience
