Without getting into its merits, this policy isn't new

I really don't care one way or the other,I don't need them at all,but why not remove all reference to sparks from this site?

Sure, you might want to help someone gain access to sparks,by showing them how to make a payment.
If they can't make a payment, sparks is completely worthless.
That is the goal of this site in the first place,I assume,to help someone gain access to the Russian music sites.
Sparks is one of them.

But if you can't talk about it anymore concerning sparks, what's the deal?
Why waste anymore time with them?
Remove all reference to them, and if anyone asks in the future, just tell them to send a message to sparks assistance.

Or better yet, refer them to any of the many other sites available here.

That message at sparks site should of been removed by now.
They know what they are doing.
They at least know the members at this site are offended by it,and they simply don't care.
So why should this site or it's members care?

I don't buy that "just a misunderstanding","it's a mix up in language translation" nonsense for one second.
I see them as someone who is laughing in my face.
So I look the other way.

ps:
I knew what Solaris meant from the start.

This forum is unfortunately married to AllOfMp3, if in name only.

Divorce only Italian style, if you know what I mean.

End of explanation

I can't understand this whole issue. If this site was sponsored by spies for the opposition, they would be the world's most incompetent spies, turning on thousands of people to the joys of downloading music from cheap Russian sites and making it easier for them to do so. Maybe Sparks just don't like us talking about anyone but them.

sparkie seems to become a history according to their attitude which has not been changing for ages....

yet i don't really know why there is such an excitement about this site. their catalogue cannot beat (and even cannot be compared with) several other stores. Is it "320kbps" myth that makes people hold their breathes about sparkie ?

MP3skyline archmage. Over 3 100 000 tunes - ain't it magic?
one, two - buckle my shoe, three, four - shut the door, five, six - pick up sticks, seven, eight - lay em straight

Sparks is so expensive - offer 320kbps at half the price and you've got it made.

we're, for one, already do offer 320 mp3s (which are roughly half of our daily uploading music) at flat $0.20

Did they all of a sudden remove the "WARNING ALERT! www.aom3.org is controlled by IFPI and RIAA lobby. Be careful about the information you leave at this site"-message from their site?

Oh, no, they didn't... So why are we taking orders from these guys...?

Hi AOM3,
Although I do like mp3sparks and do still use them a lot, I am in complete agreement with Solaris's views here (and would have posted a similar thread later if one had not already been started). As Solaris has said, their site still states that this site is controlled by the IFPI and RIAA lobby, which as you run this forum is clearly stating that you are controlled by the RIAA lobby. Now I realise that there is probably a lot of complicated politics going on behind the scenes here with mp3sparks, but I fail to see why this forum should care about any concerns which they have about any thread which contains information about mp3sparks / MM, as they have very clearly made their feeling about this site known on the front page of their web-site. I don't expect a reply to this post, but thought I would have to have my say otherwise it would have bugged me,
Cheers,
Dave C

Thanks, Dave

I still have this haunting feeling that 'the politics behind the scene' might be that the alleged 'warning' message on MP3Spark/MemphisMembers in reality is an information banner on where persistent customers should go to replenish their balances

Dreamy, you seem to have done a 180 degree turnaround again?
