The post in this sticky thread is last thing I will write in this forum about the current downtime of our favourite online music store.
I must admit that I'm getting a little tired - not so much of comforting some - but arguing with others, who claim that AllOfMP3 almost never had a downtime period prior to July 1 2007.
The fact of the matter is that no one except the guys at Mediaservices know what's going on - not even me
I can only speak from 3½ years of experience with these guys (without being associated with them in any way) and the fact that MemphisMembers is still up and running.
My guess is that both allTunes and MP3Sparks
WILL be up and running again - it can take days or even weeks but both my gut feeling and my experience tell me that they
will be back. allTunes could even be back within hours.*
I have no idea of what is the cause of this downtime. It could be that they are switching all the accounts of their non-Russian customers to MP3Sparks or it could be to lay a little low for some time, so Mr. Putin gets to convince Mr. Bush that online music stores are his number one priority
To those who strongly disagree with me and think that they are gone forever, please PM me and I will collect your usernames - and if they are not back let's say: August 1 2007, I will officially apologize to all of you for being too optimistic (as someone put it).
But if I'm right...

Note: *allTunes was in fact back only a few hours after I posted this
