Rolly - Tom and I aren't RICHMONDERS as much as Suburbanites of Richmond. Now, on Tom's side of the River, more yankess. But in ol' Chesterfield, we are a bunch of hicks hoping to climb to the higher rungs of society but we have to be able to bring our grits and collard greens and ham hocks with us! (what is a ham hock anyhow?

)
Plus, I am really a mix-breed, my Dad is from Buffalo, NY, and my Mom lived most of her life in Southern Maryland although she was born in the hills of Virginia (same as me!

) - we're from "The Waltons" neck of the woods (see - neck of the woods, grits, collard greens - that's not Yankee talk).
"Yankees in Tara! (Well, I just won't think about it....)"
