To bring this track back on topic, I really should go to YouTube and find track #6 from Van Halen's album "1984".

I bet Nightfly knows what it is without checking

Yes, Nightfly knows the track listing of every heavy rock album off by heart

I only vaguely remember "Hot For Teacher."

Like everywhere else it was "Jump" that was played almost exclusively here in my part of the northern hemisphere

With that title it should have been a classic, though

Well, perhaps it's better that I listened to most of that music way after it was blasted on the radio in any part of any hemisphere, and found "the best" instead of "the singles" - which aren't always!

I never saw Van Halen, but I have seen David Lee Roth in concert several times & he is an excellent performer. If anyone ever wants to see a plethora of very nice young ladies in skimpy leather bikinis, go to a David Lee Roth concert,
Cheers,
Dave C

DLR has made two of the most fun videos of all time; California Girls (YouTube - David Lee Roth - California Girls (Music Video)), closely followed by Just a gigolo. Rather than post a link to the second track (easy enough to find), check out one of the original versions of this song by Betty Boop (YouTube - Betty Boop "Just A Gigolo" 1932).
Cheers,
Dave C
