I have a 5th gen iPod 30gb. The volume when connected to external speakers is very low compared to other players. I have increased the volume limit to maximum in the menu options, but it is still too low. Is there a hack to increase the level and if so does it have any bad side effects.
damo, plenty of hacks (ie firmware updates) even official ones for countries
where volume does not need to be limited. just google around.
sideeffects? you can, by mistake and on full volume for a sustained period,
break your speakers / amp / headphones / ears / relationship, but with some
care, that should all be avoidable once you know your system and its settings.
