Samantha Fox

A couple of years ago, I actually learned that she is a lesbian Good for her - but maybe a good thing marketing wise that she didn't give the teenage boys of the 80's that little piece of information

On second thought: Maybe she should have done precisely that - teenage boys have a vivid imagination

Have you heard of the immensely popular Russian nymphette duo Tatu?

They did a great lesbian double act for awhile, till one of them got knocked up by their manager.

Did you know that their manager owns Gomusic.ru, MusicMP3.ru and MP3.ua

I actually liked their cover of my favourite The Smiths song "How Soon Is Now" - even if the original was far better

I heard of some girl band, which really went to extremes on stage. They are/were called Rock Bitch.

What MP3 player do you own?

I have a 2nd generation iPod Nano and a 3rd generation iPod Shuffle.

I want to get me a Zune in the near future.

Welcome to the forums!

Yay! If you do, you won't regret it. I already own a brown one but I just got a black Zune 80 recently for more space. I'm not anti-Apple, but Ipod and Itunes just weren't my cup of tea when I used to own one. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Mell,

Could you tell me more about your Zune? I already have a Sansdisc
I really like..but my daughter has offered to buy me a new one..
and I have been eyeing the Zune's.
What do you like about it and what do you think might set it apart from
other players..

Thanks....

Hey Nightfly, sure

For me, the sound is terrific and the best I've heard from the players I've used. I like the ability to choose your own image background for the player, and I also like that when you're playing music, the screen is dominated by a big album art, which I think less emphasised with mp3 players today (a pity).

I have a wi-fi router modem in my home, and the Zune has wi-fi...which is great, because it means I can synch music to it wirelessly from my PC without connecting cables. Browsing for music is superior to other players I've used - you can go from searching through album to artist to song categories very quickly. Video viewing is better than other players (at least on the 30gb and 80gb Zunes - on the nano type mp3 player in general videos seem a bit redundant). I also love the FM radio - it's surprisingly good reception and the name of the station (and sometimes song) shows up on the screen through some satellite trick.

The software you install for it on your PC is decent too, but is its potential Achilles' heel; I'd advise against the Zune if you like a complex music rating system and complex playlists, and don't feel like organising your music collection through yet another music software. Zune will add more features to the software (and the player itself, as they did this year - people who bought the old Zunes were able to enable all the features the new ones had), so it may receive better playlist features etc.

Hope that helps!

Yes, it supports wma, mp3, m4a for audio, and mp4, mov and wmv for video. Your wma's should be fine as long as they don't have DRM - if they do, then you'd need to strip them using fairuse4wm.
