Another Ripoff ?!? - 05-14-2008, 04:54 AM

I found this site because of a problem with MP3Fiesta.

On 15 April 2008 20:28:52 CEST I signed up with MP3Fiesta and made a payment for USD49.90 to MP3fiesta using a Visa card. I checked the account and there it was. But I did not buy anything then. The money was there in my account!

I suppose the service was through CardPayDirect.com. The email also said, "We have processed your payment. MP3fiesta has received your order and will inform you about delivery or service."

Tonight, I tried to check my account and could not log on. I checked the passwords, the signin address and still could not log on. Finally, I thought I was logging on, but it appears I was signing on again. And there was no balance. When I checked my e-mail, there was a SECOND WELCOME message, just like the first one

What happened to the fifty bucks I had in my account. And what happened to my account?

I sent a support message. Perhaps their computers will show something if it is legit!

Hi CallDon, and welcome to the forum

I am sorry to hear about the problems you seem to have had with mp3fiesta.
IMHO, they are one of the best of the Russian sites, and I have never had any payment problems with them.
I would suggest double checking that you are entering the correct e-mail address and password when you try to log in.
Failing that, I hope their assistance dept. can help you out.
Otherwise, you could send a PM (personal message) to solution, who is a representative of Fiesta and is a member here.

Good luck, hope your problem is resolved.
Let us know how it goes

Surprisingly, I received an e-mail this morning from them. It said my account "was closed due security software of our system. All transactions were refunded." When I checked my bank account, yes, the funds had been refunded.

It came from "support3"

I don't know what the problem was. So I hope I can still sign up!

So my current question is, is this forum related to "allofmp3.com?"

Thanks for the help. Glad I found this forum.

No - no relation of allofmp3.com, although clearly evident from the name of the forum that it emerged as a result of it in the beginning.

There's some really great people here who know a lot about music, finding it, listening to it, and helping others do the same.

Oh, and there's also a princess with a minor case of megalomania - that's me

Welcome!!

Hi and welcome. If you can't get anywhre with fiesta, a lot of people seem to like Lavamus, and their rep has started to post here, seems to be quite responsive. My personal favorite is Mclub which is great if you like any Rock/Metal, Dance, Russian or Clasical.

Other than that use rutunes.com as a guide, that's what I did and found somewhere I'm happy

There are some great people here who are more than happy to help

That may be the case, Vik, but we wouldn`t want it any other way

Hi CallDon,

That`s a strange thing you reported there.

At least they let you know what had happened. There must have been some sort of temporary problem with their software. Like I said before, I have never had any trouble making payments with them.
All I can suggest is try to set up a new account, let`s hope the problem has been sorted out now.

Hi CallDon and welcome to the forum

Thank you for telling us that everything went OK with MP3Fiesta after all - and that you furthermore did it so rapidly after first airing your frustrations here
