Hi 2 Cold Scorpio and welcome to the forum

All tracks purchased from MP3Fiesta are in the MP3 file format and those I'm pretty sure you can import to iTunes (even on a Mac) The iTunes application do recognize the MP3 file format...

But stay tuned for an answer from the administrator of MP3Fiesta himself: Solution - or you could ask the very same question in MP3Fiesta Assistance

Hi 2 Cold Scorpio and welcome to the forum ,
As Solaris said, the stuff you download from mp3fiesta will be in mp3 format and will play fine on itunes. Just incase you do not know how to get your downloaded stuff added into itunes, all you need to do is go into itunes and click on 'File' go to 'Add Folder to Library...', click on the folder you have downloaded and hit Ok. This will get the music onto itunes in mp3 format. There is not much point in converting it to AAC format as it will not improve the audio quality, but if you want to just 'highlite' the whole album go to 'Advanced' and click on 'Convert Selection to AAC'. Once it has done this you will have two copies of the album (the original mp3 and the new AAC), so remember to delete the old one,
Cheers,
Dave C

[EDIT] Just had another thought about why you do not want to do this. The standard 'importing' format to itunes is 'High Quality (128 kbps)' so if you convert your mp3 to AAC without changing this to a higher quality, you will be lowering the quality of you download. The only reason you would want to do this is if you have a really small ipod (e.g 512k ipod shuffle) and you want to get alot to music onto it. Having said that, still don't do it as you can hear the difference between 128 kbps and the ~200 kbps you will probably be getting from fiesta.

Thank you Dave C and Solaris. For your help. Unfortunately I have still been unable to play to download the songs unto my itunes library.

When I attempt to download a song I first go to File and click on "Save As...". I then save into a folder I have setup for MP3fiesta downloads. Once this is complete I go to file on Itunes. I then go to "Add to Library..." Next, I go to the folder I saved the songs to, highlight, and press "choose". The menu then vanishes. When I try to seach for it on Itunes it is still not there. Is there something else I am not doing correctly.

Again, thanks for all of your help.

Not too sure as I don't use a MAC so it might be different to a PC. Have you tried just dragging and dropping the folder which contains your downloaded mp3s into the itunes library, as this is effectively the same as doing the 'add folder' thing. Let us know if this works,
Cheers,
Dave C

I either drag it in, or right-click and chose "open with itunes".

hello and good night.

im not a mac user but i have used itunes from time to time. i have similar uses with that problem on my pc. i used to use music match and loved it. i got really used to the software. musicmatch is what apple use to use with the first and second generation ipods.

i then bought a new ipod and my musicmatch software would not work with the new ipods........so i had to use i tunes. i had the same problem you are describing above^^^ what i did was remove all itunes folders from my cpu. i used add remove programs and also in my registry i deleted itune folders and then i reloaded itunes and this took care of the problem. give it a try it seemed to work for me.

thanks and have a wonderful night.

cr
