Moreso, I am telling my friends that shop iTunes, etc. about the wonderful value here and they say there must be some problem, comrad.

I say, if my credit card information is safe, there is no problem. What the heck, I especially enjoy the rooskies that make this possible from the country of USSR (located deep within in Russia). Joking joking - thanks for the info.
And I do not find the humor or joke...but that's just me...

Okay Nightfly, it seems like kind of a defensive answer you give, and then seemingly point the finger of suspicion in this general direction. ;-)

Maybe I should phrase my question a little differently, like, is my wad safe - dude? !!!

__ Tooootaallllly
__ Ferrr Shurrrrrrrr
__ Yahhh Right
__ Not so much
__ Be afraid, very afraid

Please check one. 8-)

I am only asking the questions that anyone from the mainstream would ask, in the first MP3Fiesta forum that I found on google. I am as resourceful as Google - no more, no less.

It's interesting that this part of this forum is the only one I've found for MP3Fiesta, and the threads are generally pretty stale, like months old. So either I'm one of the first to come along or this is a long way off the beaten path for reasons unknown, certainly it's not the price and selection, which is good, very good.

But if it's just a small group of music lovers, that's cozy enough for me. I've downloaded really great stuff so far - Acroma, Kings of Leon, AC/DC... What's to question - it's great rock on the cheap.

DonRas,

As a resourceful Google user, you probably have noted that more often than not people make posts when they have concern and complaints. I bet you yourself go a-googling when something's not working. Those happy and content just sit pretty and enjoy.

That said, if you find stale threads, and noone bitching and moaning, I'd take it as a good thing and go download some new albums. Never heard of Acroma, but Kings of Leon are awesome.

And no, you are definitely not the first one to come along. Can't take the credit for being the first. There's always someone before you who did it already. Well, 99.99999999999999999% of the time. Sorry, dude.

Here, check out their stats on Alexa over the past few months :-

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr....mp3fiesta.com

Solaris started a thread about it yesterday with the same chart. Juxtaposing Mp3Sparks trends against Mp3fiesta, but I can't seem to find the thread now and too lazy to look.

Good night!

Russian MP3 site shuts down, reappears with new address - USATODAY.com

Here is one interesting page I found. Now I am sure Nightfly you think I am some adversary from a rival turf but honestly anyone can google this up, anyone that is interested - of course!

Hi DonRas.

As you can see from this comparison table from Alexa, MP3Fiesta seems to be quite popular amongst some of the runners up (see attachment)

If you have further questions about this particular site (which you can't find on the MP3Fiesta homepage), please PM aom3.org forum member Solution, who is the MP3Fiesta administrator

Okay, this is what I was looking for - I found it on the HELP at the MP3 Fiesta website. Can anyone vouch for this as being true?

Also, I would like to know, I was reading from a GOOGLE search that some credit card services may deny the credit transaction because they are not in agreement with the license issues of AOM3.

Is this correct, has this happened?

I have never heard of a credit card company selecting who it will pay to before.

Hi DonRas and user242.

Ever since The MAFIAA found out that threatening and/or "compensating" VISA and MasterCard (to stop payment from these Russian/Ukrainian online music stores) was somewhat efficient (at least to begin with), it has been one big cat and mouse chase.

When one payment processor is bullied to stop accepting payments - the people behind these stores always find ways around this harassment tactics.

Because harassment it is

We do know that these stores lie in somewhat of a grey area but it is VERY few countries, where there are laws against using them - even if The RIAA and IFPI try desperately to tell the world that it is forbidden. The MAFIAA says this so often that many people probably think it is forbidden but I guess that is all part of their plan.

MP3Sparks & co. do pay compensation to ROMS or FAIR and have done so for years but The RIAA refuses to accept payments, which would for sure legalize these stores.

The weird thing is that even if they were to succeed closing these Russian/Ukrainian stores, 99.9 percent of their customers would not use the stores white listed by The Music Industry. Primarily because of the DRM issue but many also because of the price.

And most people do want to pay for their music but if the alternatives are iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody, then they would rather get it from P2P, BitTorrent or Usenet.

To round up: These Russian/Ukrainian stores simply give people what they want at a fair price

Very very interesting Solaris.

I was thinking you were being cute or funny because you referenced MAFIAA and that is spelled much like something else when you remove the last letter. But I see this organization does exist and they have brought pressure to bear upon their business partners and others. This animal must be fed and they have determined that 99 cents is the acceptable rate it seems.

Thanks for the info...

OMG! I I always thought Solaris used this term in sarcasm.
