Exclamation Is this "Fiesta" Safe and Legal? - 10-08-2007, 09:47 PM

Hello All,

I have signed up with MP3Fiesta and enjoyed many downloads,
saving quite a bit of $$$ over iTunes etc.

It's been a great find.

The site "seems" to be a British site from the language and
spelling I see, and is said to hace servers based in USSR.

I have a couple questions:

1. Is my credit card numbers safe with this concern, have their
been any reports of credit card numbers being stolen or sold?

2. Are the downloads I'm getting (in general) legal within
the bsiness community where rights are said to be owned?

Any information or links to such would be appreciated, so
I can shake this feeling that it's too good to be true.

;-)

Welcome,

Please read our online review on Mp3Fiesta and also read
our Mp3fiesta Sub Forum under Music Sites and read what other
members have to say about Mp3fiesta.
From our personal experience your information is completely safe.
We have many of the site owners online with us and they are people
of high integrity. We have Never had one complaint from our thousands
of registered users of any complaints of any dishonesty of any kind.
But you must take from your own experiences..what you feel to be the truth.
It seems so far you have had a good experience...
Why all of a sudden so worried ? As I told another member today
ultimately only You can make the choice, if using these sites are
a good choice for you.
Also from your opening comment you are IP savy so you Know it is a Russian
site..No mystery there.

MP3Fiesta Security - 10-09-2007, 03:23 AM

Why all of a sudden so worried ?

Partly I am worried out of guilt , for having found more music than I ever wanted, at a price that I can accept. I am not concerned so much from the standpoint of "copyright", since many of the music selections that I choose are MP3 files of albums that I already purchased.

Moreso, I am telling my friends that shop iTunes, etc. about the wonderful value here and they say there must be some problem, comrad.

I say, if my credit card information is safe, there is no problem. What the heck, I especially enjoy the rooskies that make this possible from the country of USSR (located deep within in Russia). Joking joking - thanks for the info.

Donras,
As usual Nightfly tells it as it is and if you listen to the Mods on here you will never go far wrong.
I am a big supporter of Fiesta as many others on here, and if you read the reviews covering all the the major sites, most sites have their loyal followings for different reasons. Any problems and usually this site is the first to know, nothing is 100%, but this website is as good as it gets, and many "owners" post on here including mp3Fiesta, mp3Sale, Soundsbox. In my opinion, it is as safe as possibly it can be and better than could ever be expected.

I'm glad you guys got it because being a Newbie here I was all kinds of confused!....lol...

I read in another post that "Seva" is not actually from Russia but from Venezuela? He did say that he uses Russian servers....(go figure)....

Funny thing is when he responded to someone trying to write in Spanish it came out all wrong and mis-spelled!....no disrespect to you "Seva" I just thought it was a bit humorous.

Found it!!! - 10-10-2007, 12:58 AM

========================================
All payments on MP3fiesta.com are made through "e-Ls Payment System". This online payment processing service allows you securely use your credit card. We do not save your credit card data on our Web site.
=========================================

Okay, this is what I was looking for - I found it on the HELP at the MP3 Fiesta website. Can anyone vouch for this as being true?

Also, I would like to know, I was reading from a GOOGLE search that some credit card services may deny the credit transaction because they are not in agreement with the license issues of AOM3.

Is this correct, has this happened?

I have never heard of a credit card company selecting who it will pay to before.

You will have to find this information for yourself..The information of legality
is on all the Ru. Sites.
We do not answer legal questions..I suggest if you have any doubts or
questions about the use of these sites you contact a lawyer for more information.
We are music Lovers here... not lawyers.
For this information I suggest
you go elsewhere...
and like User242 why all the legal questions?
You have the same information that's accessible to all of us,
we know no more than you.
Please make your own conclusions..

You have not asked one question about music ?
Obviously this is not a concern of yours....
ummmm??

and by your post You seem very resourceful ....
