Guys! I don't want to disappoint you, but...

I expect that they will see quite a drop in new revenues in the next weeks
They won't drop... 20 cents per track is a pretty good price for new users anyway. And I'm sure a huge part of their revenues consist mostly from new users deposits, and 50% of old users won't mind this price increase...

We will see, I would agree with you if there was only a couple to choose from, but there must be at least 50 websites to choose from, if not more?
Sooner or later bad press will appear on Google links and as word spreads, who knows.

Just think of all the members on here who may think twice and go elsewhere?

You really are on a mission aren't you lol I happen to agree totally with pastor, for a doubling of price they need a 50% drop in sales volume before it beings to make a dent. Thats a big drop, I can't see it happening myself, especially for users who are not aware of other sites, or are cautious of entering personal details onto other sites.

Those users will probably make up the majority of their users, whilst there is a forum here of a few avid users who don't like this change and are vocal about it, you can bet there are 10 times as many who aren't vocal and don't mind too much about $0.20. Yes I know it's double, but most sites are around the $0.15 mark, and in todays world $0.05 is naff all! Especially for those, who like I say, feel they can trust MP3Fiestas payment system, and are not sure of other sites.

Ben,
Does it notice that much.
Google mp3fiesta and things are appearing slowly, this site, rutunes, the review centre, it all helps.
I think you missed the point Ben, it was not the rise, but the way they done it, they should have learnt from mp3sale how to do it properly and not upset your customers, who are your life blood!

The way MP3fiesta did the increase was pretty low-ball "Bush" league, in my opinion. Notifying long-time customers in advance would have been the right thing to do, at least we could have had time to "smoke" our balances away at .10 / track. I mean, they already had our money and it would have been the decent thing to do.

It's still one of the only sites to allow U.S. investment from credit cards.

Thanks

Pastor,

Fiesta can charge what ever they want,it's their business.
But it's the way they did it.
You on the other hand handled
the same situation very differently. You notified your customers
and gave them bonus incentives to stay.

If you do not communicate or respect your customer.
They will leave.
You are talking from a owners standpoint,
and I as a consumer advocate.
People are more savvy then you think, and will not put up with
this type of service. That's why we are here.To educate them
on their many options.

Hi benv

Considering the humongous amount of spam blogsites that lead to their domain name I think you're probably right about the members of this forum being a drop of water in a vast ocean for MP3Fiesta - unfortunately
