I would suggest that the members of this forum, both long term and new, would download quite large amounts of music, relative to the general web surfer. I know that I do. In the good old jewel case days it wasn't unusual for me to walK out of a music shop with 15 or 20 albums at a time, much to my wife's displeasure. I've now transferred that sort of errant behavior to downloading mp3's.

It's these regular, big spending customers that they will be loosing. Anyway, as previously pointed out, it's their business decision, and only time will tell if it was the correct one.

Cheers,

Well said Rebel and Nightfly, not complaining about the price rise as such, just the way it was done.

I had asked mp3fiesta for a refund or to double my account balance relative to their un-announced double price increase. Here is their response:

Hello!
Sorry but we cannot double your account.

Best regards,
MP3fiesta support team,
E-mail: support3@mp3fiesta.com

The goose is officially dead, no longer golden, rather cheap imitation pyrite.
