Movies on Music websites - 03-13-2009, 10:05 PM

Has anybody tried to register\download from the film websites linked with the likes of MP3Fiesta - Filmous or MP3Sale-Movieberry? Is there a separate forum for those sites ??

We are a music oriented site and really don't have a forum about moviesites.
But lets's see if any body picks up your question.

Eventually someone will chime in with help.......

I was wondering the same thing. I have credit at MP3Sale, and I trust them, so I'm wondering if my credit can also be used for movies since they seem to have a relationship with MovieBerry? (That sentence is too long)

Rev

I think you have to register as a new user with the movie websites, so whatever credit you have with the music site can't be transfered.

My q really was about whether anybody in this parish used these sites given they're so heavily promoted on the likes of MP3fiesta and MP3sale,
what is the sound and picture quality
ease of download (movie files are massive compared to mp3's),
special offers,
are there better sites than the ones quoted above

Any direction is appreciated

I'll be interested in this too. You need a minimum of $20 on movieberry and I haven't done it as wasn't sure what sort of quality they were going to be

Hi everyone. I am happy that you got interested with movieberry. Let me explain that we are friends with this site, we are not actually one company but two partners and we cooperate. Let me assure you that we would not cooperate with fellows who provide bad quality service. Soon they shall add previews to demonstrate the quality of what you will download. So we are 100% for it, you may register and download from this site with no worries.
Regarding balances. At this moment it is impossible to transfer balances from one site to another. Keep in mind that we are partners but not one organization.

there were some resonable good comments on the movie site ZMLdotCOM
here a while ago, and there also used to be a banner ad on the right - gone?

have seen movies from them, from low res to HD, and they were all pretty
much what you paid for.

FIESTA and movies, know that the very same cred/crds that FIESTA accepts
are not accepted by their (associated) movie section, so everyone i know
who has tried has not even succeeded to become a member - sad. and bad
for them.

greets - henry

ZML & Movieberry - 07-21-2009, 04:16 PM

I'm a little late commenting on this thread but here goes. First let's deal with ZML.com. I purchased some movies last year until I bought one movie (Bladerunner) which had a couple of problems.

First the movie quality was only fair When the movie was went into dark frames the movie was covered in pixels. Given that Bladerunner is mostly dark anyway parts of the movie were impossible to view. Second, and this is the killer when I burned the movie to dvd it was in Russian. I had to download the movie a second time and then it was in English. I suspect this was an early teething problem. Third, the prices quoted for dvd/HD quality are on par with what you'd pay at a video store so there's no real gain. When you add the cost of bandwidth the good quality selections are MORE expensive than at a video rental store.

As for Movieberry.com I've only just discovered the site and it does have potential. The prices are much more reasonable and the selection is pretty good. Sounds good eh? Well there is a big caveat to all of this. I downloaded a Divx sample of the latest Star Trek movie and the trailer was pretty washed out.

This is clearly a shame because this site has a lot potential. If I was to make a couple of recommendations from an avid movie viewer it would be this.
Have a greater number of better quality movies (better quality Divx, dvd quality and HD movies) not just "standard" quality Divx and iPod quality. Some of us actually want to convert the movies to dvd or put it on a hard drive and watch it on television. I mean for crying out loud, this is a huge sector of the market and Movieberry.com needs to cover this to a better extent than they are doing at the moment.

However, this site is fairly new and I hope the people who run the site provide a much better range of better quality movies. If they do they'll get a lot of money from this movie lover.

Movieberry - 08-11-2009, 01:17 AM

Any new information on movieberry.com? Looks pretty sweet for the movies that have been released to DVD. Some of the newer films appear to be screeners or cam/telesync jobs, but that's what you get if you can't wait for a proper release.

I'm not able to find any REAL 3rd party reviews online - it's all astro-turf, and pretty poor at that. Wish the mp3sparks crew would open a movie site. . .

Holy crap, Sparks and movies? They're a minefield with just the music end of things and you can only top up your credit from good folk such as phobozad when he's got pin codes! (There are others but I'm partial to phobozad...).
