On my connection here in the U.S., mp3fiesta is running very sluggish and slow. Haven't ever really seen this kind of poor performance at this site before. Downloads not working, and I have received a 504 Gateway Error. Anyone else seeing the same situation?

Hi Kaeli

I'm not a Fiesta user so I can't speak for downloads, but the site is very slow for me in UK - 45 seconds to load a page.

For some reason, over the last few days both mp3fiesta & mp3sale have been really slow loading up pages for me. Downloads speeds have been unaffected though

MP3fiesta has fixed their problems with downloads, and the site is working as normal.

I'm getting a number of problems after having dropped $40 into my account. I'm new and didn't know what to expect, but based on Nightfly's recommendation and the review on RuTunes, I went for it. I loved the selection, downloads are a bit of a hassle, but selection, while not being MP3Sparks, is quite good.

However, the site didn't accept 3/4 of my purchases in a session and I CANNOT get to the downloads page. Based on this experience, I'm pretty wary of MP3Fiesta.

Altho...props to Nightfly for the eMusic recommendation! Anyone know if their music is DRM-free?

Sounds like you are experiencing the exact same problem I had Sat. with fiesta. After about 3 hours, it cleared itself up. My thinking is that they are getting heavy requests due to the mp3sale problems, etc. because the gateway timeout indicates their server can't handle all requests. Also, check your balance when it does come back up. Mine charged me multiples yesterday, for each time I said "purchase".

All that being said, mp3fiesta has been pretty much rock solid and I've used it over 9 months now. I never experienced these type of problems before. Hopefully, this is just a blip. It is a good site to use for buying full cd's at a discount. So these problems you're seeing are as new to you as they are me.

eMusic is Drm-free and was the first site to be Drm-free...read the review
on Rutunes.com for more details.

I'm now getting a "Server temporary has been down for maintenance" message on mp3fiesta, was getting timeouts and no access to download page last night.

Has anybody got any info?
