Are they somehow able to rig the ratings or does price really matter so much, do you reckon? They are by far the cheapest album wise...
I thought I would add my six penny worth.
As you know I am a user mainly of mp3fiesta & mp3sale, fiesta are crafty now, on their longer tracks they up their prices. Sale does not normally do this, if you factor in that you can still add $50 and get $50 free (offer been running 3 months now), then in my honest opinion, the cheapest website is sale/million, because what ever you buy you are only paying 50% full price!

Fiesta are still very good value, so I will usually go for the higher bitrate which ever one of the two of them it is.

Actually, the price does not really matter. i can state this just because of great experience. we had recently prices somewhat 2 times higher then now. now we're increasing traffic but not 2 times as it we expect considering strong relation between popularity and prices.

so, just to say it simple:
you and me, we have different music tastes and preferences. but if we consider REALLY lot of music customers, i must say that fiesta fits for all of them better than even the sites that you (or me) could like more.

and of course they're provide top-level partnership, that's why lot's of webmasters are eager to work with them

Seva
it seems to be just the same is i could tell RIAA: hey guys, why are you trying to shut down all these sites, perfectly legal in their coutries?

i see a loooooot of things daily which don't seem to be "normal" or fair (better to say), but whatsoever? do you care of this until? no, for sure. until it deals up with you.

Skyforger, I think you are missing the point, for some people price is very important, for others it will be the quality of the bitrate, something else for others. In mp3fiesta you can normally get the top 20 albums for 99 cents each, which is brilliant, personally I like the fact that in mp3sale I can download one ZIP file/album. So in summing up, everyone has a favourite for different reasons, but price can play a big part.

Hello skyforger,

Yes, price is not always the bottom line for music lovers.
I look for a catalogue that suits my tastes and customer
service first..then I look for the best price within that
criteria.But without the first 2 ..I really don't care
how low the price is.
And then, is the site comfortable ,a place I like to spend time at
and find music easily and in a timely matter, that's what I'm looking for.

It's hard to please all the masses,
but the ones that will listen .......will be the ones to excel.

Hi Nightfly.

agree (and was going to mention that).
service itself is the most important. this includes navigation, search, prelisten and download routines. heavy graphics and loads of movies / web2.0-shiny-banners suck ass if you cannot provide convenient engine and catalogue for your members. even if the prices are 1 penny per song
