Payment security? - 01-24-2008, 10:09 PM

Gday all,

Just signed up with Mp3Fiesta owing to my frustration waiting for AOM/Sparks to allow refilling. Was about to put funds on my account when I noticed that the only payment page (Visa or MC) that I have access to doesn't have any security (https, SSL etc.) at all. I'm always a bit wary of that. Now I have a new account with no money :S Am I right to be concerned?

Hi Barry,
you might want to wait for someone who can offer you so better advice before doing anything with your credit card, but all I can say is that I have used mp3fiesta (using visa) and have not had any problems. Just wanted to check, but when you add your name & address, that page does not have the little 'lock' on it, but when you get transferred to the page where your actually add you visa card details, that does; did you go this far? This page is, and I am only quoting here and it means nothing to me, is SSL Server Certificate, AES-256 256 bit encrypted,
Cheers,
Dave C

Hmmm. I didn't go that far - got spooked and dazzled in the headlights. Went to the next page, https and SSL is good enough for me. Now onto downloading THanks.
