I too, have just tried to refill my balance with mp3 Fiesta and nothing is happening. Whereas I respect site policy on discussions, two things strike me as being rather odd:

1. I can't find the site policy so I would welcome the chance to read it - apologies if the location is obvious. I'm over 40, so my braincells are decreasing rapidly.

2. Why bother having a forum which overtly promotes mp3 sites, if when problems occur with something as serious as payments, we are not allowed to discuss it? I can't see the logic in that unless the Admin. team are incahoots with site owners and are afraid of upsetting them. Whether I'm right or wrong, can you see my point?

It's a fact that Admin. - who I do respect as I do a similar job on another forum - do appear very cagey when explaining anything to do with payments. Yet without those of us paying into the sites, what would be their raison d'etre?

C'mon folks - fair's fair. Let's have a bit more openness and more forewarning here, especially when things go wrong. I see little point in paying in anymore money to any site, until such time as there is more reassurance that it won't be money going straight down the drain.

The reason we do not discuss processing options because the various sites
have asked us Not to.And out of respect for there business and livelihood we have stopped.Seems pretty clear to me.So we are incahoots as you say,
Only to respect their wishes. They are also members and colleagues and must
be respected as well.

Sorry this Rule comes from the Administrator and it is his site, and we have no special knowledge anyways,to be of assistance to anyone.

I did present it Vic ,and aom3 seemed to like it and said he was going to put
something definitive together. It seems to be on the backburner.

But I will remind him.

Fair comment, although we'll have to agree to disagree on this one as it undermines the value of this site and also demonstrates that more value is placed on the provider than the user; in particular the members of THIS site.

Remind me Nightfly please, who creates the demand in the first place?

Baggie, you are going in circles and the answer is still going to be the same.
Sadly it is a catch22, everyone wants to know more and more and because sometimes the wrong people read this site it spoils it for everyone.
The music sites know this and that is why when they ask for something, a decision is then taken by the owner of this site, which is not Nightfly. If you still have aproblem, I suggest you take it up with the owner of this site, which is "aom3".

Yes, I know. And I see no point in asking the same question.

But any regulatory body wishing to find out about new methods of payment will find out the easy way - by checking out the sites themselves. Discussion here has no bearing on the manner in which they operate in my opinion, other than alerting them when additional sites emerge.

Hey Baggiesfan ,

We have had about a year of experience with this issue. The decision about not disclosing payment options was not decided upon in an impulsive or reactive manner. We have had to learn the hard way that this is the best way for all involved. Multiple threads and posts will support this.

But please hang with us. You will be able to top off accounts and enjoy all the music you love. And the other forum members are not just very smart, resourceful and savy, they are very friendly and helpful.

Listen,we are more than a site for payment options...(we do Sparks)
If you can not see the value of this community for other than that,
I have nothing more to say, that we can possibly agree on.

We are a non profit Org. so I don't know what you are inferring.
I have no say over policy, but I happen to agree with it for the sake
of people's livlihoods...which doesn't seem to matter at all to you.

We do care what members have to say and feel, but we can't make
everyone happy...and I see you might be one of them....sorry about that.
