Post Dance Recommendations - 07-13-2008, 01:47 PM

Hi all, If you need some good recommends this is the place to come

My daughter, age 10 (going on 24) is heading in the direction of dance music and seeing as she's been remarkably helpful recently (I smell a rat) I'd like to get some tracks for her.

I know absolutely nothing about Dance music and I'm not in a big hurry to learn but if some members (maybe the forum's DJ's) could recommend a handful of tracks we'd both be really grateful.

Her tastes so far, seem to be a mix of Electronica, House, Hip Hip & RnB. She's got Basshunter, Ne-Yo, Sam Sparro, Chris Brown, Rihanna. I was going to buy a couple of Ibiza type compilation albums but, not knowing what I was doing, would probably end up with 2 good tracks and 48 duff ones

Anyone out there want to offer some good, sweaty, dance tracks?

Thanks in advance

Contemporary dance hits - or some of the classic ones?

The latest Clubland albums are always a good bet. Also, September's In Orbit or Dancing Shoes albums are good, but not on Mp3sparks/MM unfortunately.

When I wrote it, I was pretty sure one of you pedantic fellow forum members would interpret my message as if I would come around to him physically - but I merely meant that in the morning I will find ALL the dance tunes, he and his daughter ever could have dreamt of

Look who he's calling pedantic! Dreamy, don't you worry. I knew exactly what you meant Just poking a little fun at you.

If that helps - I am still unable to find out what and how to mount If you don't mind looking at that in the morning as well, I would be most grateful (wink wink nudge nudge).

Sweet dreams

Hey Solaris, I never for one second doubted:
a) You meant anything other
AND
b) You'd come up with the goods
Thanks for all your great efforts - it's much appreciated
