Laleh, Swedish electronic/pop songstress - 03-03-2008, 05:20 AM

I had a music video (Closer) of an artist called Laleh languishing on my computer for ages and recently just got around to watching it. Liked it a lot, so thought I'd share. The album is pretty good! Anyone else heard of her?

Closer:

Call On Me (no, not the horrific Eric Prydz version!):
YouTube - Laleh - Call on me - Musicvideo

Edit: Actually, she's Persian, but nevermind... she sings in Swedish

A few years ago "Live Tomorrow" by Laleh was my favourite tune for about a fortnight - so you should probably check that one out too (if you don't already know it...)

Link to "Live Tomorrow" on YouTube here: YouTube - Laleh Live tomorrow

She is an actress too - well sort of... She played the part of Yasmin in the hilariously funny Swedish movie "Jalla! Jalla!" from 2000.
