At Swim Two Birds?? - 05-27-2007, 11:22 PM

Was listening to the CD which came with my copy of 'The Word' magazine this month and there is one outstanding track on it by a band I have never heard of before; 'At Swim Two Birds' (the track was 'Wine Destroys the Memory'). Has anyone else heard of this band before and / or got their album 'returning to the scene of the crime'? I can't find anywhere to download it, so am going to order the CD, but was just wondering if their other stuff is any good or are they just a 'one hit wonder'?
Cheers,
Dave C

Just a quick up-date. Finally got this album and it is Okay; but the 'Wine Destroys the Memory' track is far better than the rest. On the whole, I do not think that I am going to give it all that many plays. That said, I did a bit of digging while I was trying to find this album and found that 'At Swim Two Bird' is basically one half of the 'The Montgolfier Brothers'. I have tried two of their albums and they are much better. If you are at all interested, read the reviews on this web-site (it was a new one to me):-www.leonardslair.co.uk. NB. You can find the 'The Montgolfier Brothers' albums at www.legalsounds.com.
Cheers,
Dave C

Hi Solaris,
I'm in so many of these site I have completely forgotten where I got it from. I think it was mp3sale.ru, but the site is down at the moment, so I might be wrong,
Cheers,
Dave C
