So what has this got to do with blues legend John Dee Holman, you ask? Well there is a charitable Foundation called The music Maker Relief Foundation that helps and supports ageing southern blues artists, and does other good works. They raise money by recording and selling music donated by an extrordinary collection of great blues and folk artists. The Waifs have done one with John Dee Holman and it is only available (so I understand) from the Foundation's website for $12. By all accounts this is a terrific CD and I can't wait for mine to arrive.
