She's been around in Denmark for most of the past decade, according to Wikipedia, and in 2006 won a Denmark equivalent of the Grammys for "Singer of the Year". Dave and Hirs would have fun with this album.
Hi Vik, Hi and thanks for the recommend although not sure what I would have fun with this album means, precisely

Hi Dave, thanks for noticing. Work bad, 'nuff said, back to meaningless posts and downloading DRM free music

However, this artist's real last name is Dickow, with a K, but she is being marketed as Dico , according to Wikipedia for "phonetic differences among American English speakers".

Not being one to ever dispute anything written on Wikipedia , I shall accept their explanation of their marketing strategy

I do think she might have some sort of Eastern European roots
You're right, Miss Vikulenka My girlfriend nearly laughed her socks off, when she saw my incomplete spelling of Tina Dickow's name

She must be of some sort of Eastern European origin, since almost all people in Denmark are called "Jensen"

Well, What I was referring to was "you might enjoy listening to it".

After reading some of the posts below, I am afraid there might be a side effect of wanting to spread raspberry marmalade on danishes and/or people

I think the currants are dead flies and they only go curly when they're going off

I drive past a little 'local' shop on the way to work and if I'm feeling peckish, a Danish is what I always go for (very easy to eat with one hand),
Cheers,
