Thumbs up Fleet Foxes & Sun Giant EP - 04-05-2008, 10:48 PM

Just got this recommended via another forum and it is well worth getting. Kind of alternative-folk band with some great harmonies; sure you would like them Nightfly. I got it from emusic, but it may well be found other places as well,
Cheers,
Dave C

You think that's good, you should hear their forthcoming album Ragged Wood. (And if you're prepared to do a little digging, it's not hard to find on the net

I saw lots of post about this album on various sites, including last.fm, everyone saying it was good. This surprised me a bit as it is not going to be released until the 3rd June and the title has been changed to Fleet Foxes. I saw from a Google search that some bit torrent sites had it, but I thought if it was out this early it must have been some dodgy copy or just some demo tracks?
Cheers,
Dave C

No, it sounds like the real thing to me. It's appeared on several blog sites, and has probably been deleted from the ones I saw by now. But it must still be around, and if you want to be absolutely certain of finding it, try Soulseek.

Dave,

I was Able to get a copy of Sun Giant and like it very much.
It has great harmonies and sparse instumentation all put together
with a different sound to it...very spiritual in nature.
Very relaxing........

Thanks for another great recommend....
