Thumbs up Ooberman - 11-17-2007, 01:17 AM

Just got turned onto a new band too me; Ooberman. These are an excellent indie band, with a kind of folky undertones. After spending ages trying to find their stuff on all of the Russian sites, I went to their website and found that they are giving away all of their catalog to download for free . I felt a bit guilty doing this as I copied 5 albums, so I donated about what it would have cost me from mp3sparks via the paypal link which they have on there site (seems fair). Below is the link to the site if anyone else is interested (NB. try listening to 'Crashing Ellipticals' (second track off the 'Carried Away' album) if you are in any doubts about how good they are).
NB. Most of the downloads came over in wma format, but itunes managed to convert them to AAC without any hassles (did not think it could do this)
Cheers,
Dave C

Dave,

Though I am not a fan of their music ..I went to the site and I think that
this is the way to treat your fan base or potential fan base.

Thanks for sharing this site,

Nightfly
