Fans of prog rock who think they own every classic album in existence might be interested in one I spotted on Sparks recently.
Jericho, by the Israeli band of the same name, was released in 1972 to very limited acclaim - but it really is an great album, with good songs and some excellent guitar work. It's quite a lavish production for a band who were little-known outside their own country. Over the years the album became quite a sought-after rarity until it was eventually re-released on CD. As far as I know, it's still fairly obscure so I was surprised to see it on Sparks - and also on Millisong (probably at half the price). I was listening to my CD copy this morning and the music still sounds fresh.
